Minecraft Grass Block Shelf

You can't have a Minecraft themed bedroom without a couple of grass blocks but, mom doesn't like dirt in the bedroom. What to do? Print out pixelated grass graphic image (search Google or comment back for a printable PDF). Minecraft printable Cut to size. If you crease the edges it will be easier to cut the right size. Minecraft Bedroom Decor

My four children love playing Minecraft. Our youngest recently celebrated his fifth birthday and is now ready to sleep in his own room, in his own bed (goodbye backaches and neck cramps)! After searching the "World Wide Web" and coming up pretty much empty-handed, I made it my goal to create our own Minecraft room. Here are a couple of before pictures: First we painted the room a mossy green color on the two walls opposite each other. Then we painted the other two walls a light gray color and sponge painted it with silver to look like this Minecraft cobblestone block. Next came the fun part: decor! Minecraft Food & Dessert Table

The masterpiece food and dessert table from our Minecraft party We started with a pixelated backdrop by cutting 3 inch squares of scrapbook paper in shades of brown, green, blue and white and then gluing them to a science fair board with rubber cement. Here it is halfway done We bought a set of nesting boxes at Michael's and cut green paper to look like pixelated grass to cover the lids. These were perfect for adding dimension to our table. We made labels for the different items to connect them to the game and also put a picture of the corresponding game item. Apple juice = potion. Chocolate eggs for the game eggs (we doctored the clipart from the game to match the color of our egg wrappers.) One of the favors was bubbles which we wrapped with paper to make TNT.
